John Redwood FCCA - partner
John has been in practice for many years and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of general practice. He had been a manager with one of the major international accountancy firms before founding the practice in 1980. John has a special interest and expertise in the medical professional and acts for many GP’s and Consultants in the local area.
John’s interests include skiing and he instructs at the Exeter Ski Club specialising in skiing for the disabled. Other interests are hill walking, sailing, gardening and enjoying the odd glass of wine or beer.

Keith Tuvey FCCA - partner
Keith joined the practice in 1990 and became a partner in 2000, and has many years experience in all aspects of general practice.
Keith specialises in new business start ups of all sizes and can offer practical guidance at a very important time for any business.
Keith’s interests include hill walking, gardening, surfing, fishing, following Exeter Chiefs and the occasional post match beer.

Diana Heywood ACCA – office manager
Diana started working for a local accountancy practice in 1997, whilst working she undertook her AAT and ACCA exams and qualified in 2006, she joined Redwoods in 2008. Diana has good experience of serving the needs of a variety of small and medium sized local businesses. Diana’s interests include reading, films and cake decorating.
Ian Heywood – payroll and VAT bureau manager
Ian joined Redwoods in 1991 after achieving a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance. Ian has gained significant accountancy experience, he specialises in payroll, management accounts and accountancy software systems. Ian’s interests are playing skittles and swimming.
Sandra Redwood – practice administrator
Sandra joined Redwoods at its inception in 1980 after working in the accounting and banking sectors. Sandra has wide accountancy experience of a variety of small and medium sized businesses. Sandra enjoys gardening, reading, travelling and skiing.
Brian Jeary AAT
Brian started working in accountancy practice in 1978, after many years accountancy experience and gaining his AAT qualification, he joined Redwoods in 1998. Brian has specific interest in the medical and charity sectors. Outside work, Brian enjoys badminton, cricket, and cycling, and is a keen supporter of Exeter City football club.
Nick Sparey part qualified ACCA
Nick joined Redwoods in 1999 after obtaining a BA degree in Business Management at Exeter University. During his time at Redwoods he has undertaken his training to attain part qualified ACCA status. Nick has gained a variety of accountancy skills and experience. Nick is also an avid Exeter City supporter.
Guy Trevelyan ACCA finalist
Guy joined Redwoods in 2005 after obtaining a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management at Gloucestershire University. Whilst at Redwoods, Guy has undertaken his ACCA training to finalist stage and hopes to qualify during 2011. Outside work Guy enjoys supporting Exeter City and D.I.Y at his home.
Becca Jones AAT student
Becca joined Redwoods in 2008 after completing her A Levels. Becca is carrying out her AAT training within the firm and is enjoying gaining valuable accountancy experience. Becca’s interests are sign language, films and reading.
